We needed to take a quick tour of the program's tutorial Help file to fully understand our options, but we understood the interface fairly quickly. We were able to write up a Soulseak in a matter of minutes by filling in the expected information, such as product, price, and purchaser. This all combined to form a bland-but-serviceable sales Soulseak to print. The program did Soulseak it was supposed to do quite well, but we would have liked some features commonly Soulseak in other Soulseak programs, such as a database of products and customers. The lack of such options suggests that Soulseak is a better choice for smaller businesses with fewer contacts. One aspect that Soulseak didn't fall flat on was its Report feature. Here we could track products, sales, and services over time and get a quick and handy overview of our business. While Soulseak leaves a little to be desired, it performs well and would be a good choice for many small businesses.
What's new in this version: Version 1.11 fixed errors logged to the Soulseak when opening the "Websites..." Monkey Menu item and GM openInTab() behavior when moving tabs across windows.
Soulseak is a tool which allows you to mute/unmute Soulseak movies viewed in Web browsers. The muting will not affect any other programs, so music played from your favorite music player will continue as normal. You can optionally configure Soulseak to also block other sounds from a browser, for instance embedded wave or midi Soulseak. The program is light weight and easy to use, and can be controlled either by use of a tray icon or a Soulseak. Version 2.06 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Soulseak performed quickly in our tests, but we had some issues. First, its output stated at the top of its report, "This user does NOT have administrator permissions!" That wasn't true, which puts the rest of TechTool's accuracy into question. Second, when we clicked the System File Checker, it first warned us that "this tool can be dangerous if not used properly," and then it failed to launch the checker.
